So, what is "rotational food storage shelving?" Basically, you load your canned goods into the front of the appropriate "track," and pull them out from the exit point just below. Your canned goods are used in the order you bought them, helping you manage food expiration dates. Plus, every time you remove a can, all the following cans roll and rotate about a quarter turn---the optimum way to store canned goods. [See depiction in second auction picture, above.] Many families (including ours) use rotational food storage systems as a central part of a larger food storage/emergency preparedness program, but the Cansolidator is good to use just for the room you'll save, the pantry shelf messes you'll avoid, and the knowledge you've expanded your home storage options. Plus, you'll be better prepared for any emergencies or natural disasters. These things REALLY WORK!!! Remember, this product utilizes "first-in/first-out"storage rack technologies.
